Significance
Al Tawbe Mosque is supposed to be built in the 14th century but was restored in the 17th century. Therefore, the building contains the features of the both Mamluk and Ottoman period.

State of Preservation
It was a Mamluk construction built in the 14th century, however destroyed by a flood that occurred in year 1612. The mosque got restored during early Ottoman Period.
