Significance
Dorus Saodat Complex is constructed during 14th century as a memorial complex for Timur’s family. It constitutes of the mausoleum of Timur’s son, Jahangir, a common hall for mourning cremonies (ziyoratkhona), Khazrat Imam Mosque, and a room for clergy, Quran readers and pilgrims. The complex combines the traditional architectural forms with grand scales, thus creating new forms.

State of Preservation
From the original complex of Dorus Saodat Complex, only some part of the portal as well as the tomb of Jahangir and the mosque are preserved up to this date. Archeological excavations were carried out in 1973-1975, 1981-1985 and 1994. Between 1994-1996, conservation work was implemented on the ruins, which are revealed with the excavations.
