State of Preservation
The mosque was renovated in 1980s. During the war in 1999, the mosque was set on fire. The door, windows and the wooden interior details were severely damaged during the fire. All interior surfaces are covered with soot and dirt, the floor is piled up with debris. Since 1999, the mosque is abondoned and has not been restored, has no windows nor entrance door.
This project began in 2007 and after about two years the mosque “Xhamia Ramadanie” its surroundings suffered some pretty big change and a beautiful view of a restoration being carried quite substantive (eliminating imposed objects around). The Mosque from that period (2009) was inaugurated for use and now has regular attendance.
