Significance
The Upper Govhar Aga Mosque is the most monumental one among the mosques of Shusha. This mosque is built in the place of Ibrahim Khan’s Mosque (1768) by his daughter, Govhar Aga. It is the Friday mosque of Shusha, located at the center of the city (Shusha Square).
